Western Night

Wyatt and Shay's School has a western night every year it is so fun. They do Square dancing and then after have root beer floats. Wed night Nate and Shay went and then Thursday me and Wyatt went. Really to be honest Wyatt just wanted the root beer but it was so fun to get to dance with him. Nate was so cute he even went and changed his shirt so they would match. He is such a great dad!!

Even though it is cold and snowy lately we have had some fun outside time, Friday we went up to Beaver and went night skiing. We had a great time! Nate and Christy went skiing which was really fun. It was really icy because they have not had new snow for awhile so it was pretty slick luckily nobody got hurt. I love doing things that both me and Nate enjoy. Wyatt decided since it was so icy to just sled with some of his cousins. Honestly the sledding looked more dangerous than skiing! They would just go down this little hill but they would get flying. They had so much fun!!

Wyatt and Clint


Wyatt has been wanting to take Clint sledding so bad! So sunday night we got him bundled up and just let Wyatt pull him around on the sled. It was dark out and cold so they only went for like 10min. I am not sure if Clint like it or not- but wyatt loved it!

Ice fishing last weekend Wyatt, Shay, Nate and Grandpa Don when ice fishing at Hyrum. Shay did not have fun because she did not catch a fish. Wyatt loved it because he caught the biggest fish! Wyatt was so excited to get a photo of him with his monster!

Holidays

Christmas at our house this year was not to exciting. A few days before Shay started with the stomach flu, so then it went through everyone (except Wyatt) through the break. Cole got it the worst and we were getting so worried about him getting dehydrated we almost went up to the hospital but after a blessing he started holding down some liquid. I hardly took any photos because I got sick Christmas eve and Christmas Day so I was not really thinking! Anyhow we survived and the kids enjoyed the holiday. Wyatt's favorite thing was all of his new art stuff and he loves playing the new family wii. Shay loves her new doll. Clint and Cole love all of the new toys. New Years was a fun day we went to Preston for the day and went to the cutter races, then hung out at my parents for a few hours. Then we went to the famous Napolian Dynamite bowling alley which my friends parents own for a fun night of dinner, bowling and friends, (I forgot my camera, so no photos there!) We left there early to get home and play some games with just our family and then head over to the Aston family ball drop So now 2012 is here and who know what it will bring.

The Bead

Oh I love my darling Shay- today I am at the hospital visiting my two cute new nephews when I get a call to come to the school because Shay is in the nurses office with a bead stuck in her nose. Yes a BEAD. So I hurry to the school and Shay is just hanging out in the office waiting. We worked on it for a little while and luckily when she blew hard enough the bead shot out of her nose. I was so worried she would be so embaressed but no she was kind of proud she went back to class and showed all the kids the bead and told them the whole story. I am still not sure how the bead got in there the only thing she said was she was smelling it. It is good we have kids to keep life interesting.

Santa

Oh it always so much fun to go and visit Santa each year. Well my kids have fun for me is crazy because I want the perfect pictures and I am trying to switch out kids and get group shot. Ah thanks Rachel for going and helping me! It was fun Cole got so excited he threw his arms and totally hit Santa in the face! His glasses almost went flying. So I thought we were done and were getting loaded in the stroller so I flip back through my photos and realize I did not get a single of Cole and the first one of Clint was he was not looking. So we ask Santa if we can take a few more. It is really good that Santa is such a jolly fellow, but I am sure he was relieved to see my family leave!

Thanksgiving weekend

One of our favorite traditions is the Saturday after Thanksgiving we always go and cut our Christmas tree down. This is the first time we have taken Clint and Cole with us, both me and Nate had to pack one on our backs which was quite the workout hiking through the deep snow but was so fun. They did great until the hike back, I think Cole was scared of the tree Nate was dragging behind him because he screamed the whole way back. He was so upset that Nate finally left the tree hiked Cole back out and put him in the truck and then hiked back for the tree. Wyatt and Shay had fun even though they got tired. I sometimes wonder why we do these crazy things that seem so hard at the time, but hopefully one day our kids will look back and have some really great memories.

Angie's Babies Are Here!!

Angie ( my older sister) had her babies today!!! They are doing great! They weighed in at 5 pounds 11 ounces and 6 pounds 4 ounces. They are so cute! One is named Colby Glen and the other is Kyler Craig.
