Last day of school water party

For the last day of Clint and Cole's summer school they had a water party yeah their favorite.  Clint has still not been feeling very well and has not been going to school this week, so Wyatt and Shay were so sad because they wanted to go the party.  So we drove up and my plan was to just go see Cole for a bit and keep Clint away from the other kids and not really let them get wet.  As you can see that did not work out!  Shay (according to her accidently got soaked) and the teachers found Clint a bucket of water he could splash in away from others.  They have such great teachers we feel so lucky.  What a great way to finish out summer school!

Bear Lake

On the 24th Nate had the day off of work but decided to drive over to Bear Lake to do a field check so we all decided to ride along with him and stop at the lake for a bit.  It was a little overcast and breezy so we did not stay to long.  The kids built castles and swam a bit. Clint was not feeling great so he just relaxed in the shade.  It was a great relaxing day.  After we stopped for rasberry shakes and came home.

Crayfishin'

Monday Night we went with a group of people Nate works with to Hyrum Dam to do a little crayfishing.  You are definately a redneck if you do this for fun, but we had a great time.  Shay caught a ton Nate stayed busy just getting hers unhooked.  Wyatt teamed up with Cheri and they caught a bunch too.  Cole tried fishing for a bit but just loved splashing in the water more.  Photo above Lauri helping Clint play in the water, she is one of his aids in his class and is also the wife op one of the guys who works with Nate so it was fun to have her there helping me keep the boys from getting to wet. 

  This is one of my favorite things about Shay, She is such a girly girl that wants to wear a dress and sparkly flip flops fishing, but at the same time she is out there catching more than anyone and not afraid to get dirty!  I love that she has both sides .
After the fishing Nate and the kids set up the tent in the yard for a sleep out.  He really is a the best dad!!  The kids were so excited to have a dad campout.  

New Addition

 





Meet Cally -  It has been a while since we had a cat at our house, we just don't have great luck with cats.  But, Wyatt and Shay found this kitty on the side of the road by our house.  They took it food and played with it and finally got it to let them hold it.  They were so excited when dad said they could bring it home.  It is one spoiled kitty and hope it loves living here!

Wyatt golf lessons

Wyatt decided he wanted to learn how to golf, hopefully one day he will go pro and make millions, but for now he had a great time just learning the basics.  It was a 4 day class and the last day was a tournament and then breakfast in the clubhouse and they all got a shirt.  He really loved going and can't wait to schedule some tee times with dad.

Camping

This weekend we did a quick little camp out.  It has been so hot and Nate has been so busy it was nice to just sit for a minute and enjoy being a family.  We just drove up Logan Canyon Friday night with Ammon's family.  The kids had a great time riding bikes and playing games.   We could not have a fire which seemed so weird but we still cooked woofems and marshmellows in Ammons trailer.  Then the kids ran around with glow sticks.  Sat morning  the kids played around and made fairy houses and games while Nate and Ammon did a quick bike ride.  Then we went fishing for a bit and then loaded up and came home.

  Cole was so mad that he could not just get down and play in the dirt!
