Easter

Easter is always such a fun day! . Easter morning the kids found their baskets which the sneaky bunny hid in their own rooms after they were asleep- that was the last place they looked. Then we got ready and went to Church with Grandma's her church started at 9:30 and is an hour away so we had and early morning. But I love going to Church in the ward I grew up in and seeing so many people who helped build my testimony. Then after Church we had a big dinner at my parents it is getting a little crazy there with 12 grandkids but the kids love seeing all their cousins. Then after that we have a few traditions we do every year. First we drive up to the resevoir and roll our colored eggs down the hill. The hill was still a little weedy this year so instead of who could roll them the fartherest it turned into who can throw them the farthest. Then after that we head over to pick buttercups these are little yellow flowers that only come out a couple of weeks every year right around Easter. These grow wild so the kids just run through fields to find them. These are the same traditions I did as a child and love that my kids love doing them too.

I felt bad we did not get a photo of Nate in his "yellow" church clothes. Cole got grumpy in Church so Nate came home early and Nate had changed before we could get more pictures.

The egg hill and all of the family ready to toss eggs.

Easter Eggs

Coloring Easter Eggs. This has turned into such a fun tradition every year we get together with Tricia Merritt's family and color eggs. The kids have a great time getting all messy and coloring the eggs. Clint and Cole even had fun but all they wanted to do was eat the eggs.

Wedding

Girls Trip - The first week of April me, Alison, Miriam, Naomi, and Rachel went to Bainbridge Island in Washing to Amy's (Nate's sister) wedding. We flew out on Sunday and for the first couple of days it was helping with wedding preparation and trying to do some sight seeing. We all stayed at the Wacky Nut farm which was this cool lodge. It was fun to just be together stay up late talking and just hanging out. Then on Tues was the wedding. It was so beautiful! It had been raining all morning so everyone was a little nervous about an outside wedding but luckily it held off until after. I am so glad that Nate's sister treat me like just one of them and include me in all their fun! We came home on Wednesday. It was way to fast of a trip I needed a few more days to just have fun, but it was my kids spring break so I did feel a little bad I was on a trip and they just got to stay home. Thanks to my mom and sister and of coarse Nate for watching them so I could go and play.

This is Amy and Bryan and Sydney his daughter. Amy looked so pretty and I think Bryan had all the girls crying with his amazing vows to Amy. They are a great couple.

Wyatt's Birthday

Happy Birthday to Wyatt! The end of March he turned 9- For his birthday we just had dinner as a family and then a few friends came over for cake and ice cream. It was a really relaxed birthday. His favorite presents were his telescope, his marble track from grandma and his new space pj's from Aunt Rachie
Above one of my favorite photos of him. He is just always such a happy boy with such a cute personality. He is usually easy going and happy to do about anything. He loves to play games and help both his mom and dad. He is such a great brother to Clint and Cole and is so kind to them- I do believe Clint is his favorite though I am not sure why.
