St. George

ST. George Trip. Last week Nate had some meeting in St. George so me and Wyatt and Shay tagged along to enjoy some sunshine. Thanks to Aunt Rachie for keeping Clint and Cole. It was a quick trip sun-tue but we tried to cram in as much fun as possible. Day one drive there and eat dinner and play in the pool. Day 2 We headed up to Snow Canyon just playing in the red sand. and hike around. Then we headed to town square to play in the water fountains and walkways. The water was cold but the kids still played in it.

We went on a hike later that night after nate was out of meetings and then out to dinner and of coarse more swimming!
Day 3 More swimming and then we toured some of the Church History sites, the temple and Brigham Young house. I was surprised how much the kids enjoyed that. After that we went to the Fun Center and Minatured Golfed and did bumper boats and games until Nate was done with his meetings and then headed home. It was a fun trip the weather was great and it was a perfect little get away.

Happy Birthday

Yesterday Nate turned 36! Man he is getting old. It was kind of a crazy day with just lots of stuff going on. Cole was sick again and we went to the Dr. and I had Young Womens that night Nate had some barn problems so we were just trying to make time to quickly squeeze in dinner and cake. Shay said "Man this is the boringest party ever!" Sorry Nate I guess when you get older Birthdays are not as fun as they use to be. Anyhow happy birthday Nate we love you.

Horse Racin'

This is my dad's team Lucky and Jackson are the horses names they had a great weekend winning both days! My brother in law Jason is driving the team up to the gates and then my other brother in law Jeremy races them down. Below Shay and Taylor watching the races they are BFF's and look so much a like they could pass for twins ( Taylor is a year younger than Shay)

Last weekend mom, Wyatt and Shay headed to the cutter races for the weekend in Jerome Idaho. This was such a huge part of my life growing up, this is what my family did most weekends of my childhood. I really enjoy going mostly because my whole family is there and also It reminds me of where I came from. I really grew up in a barn (haha) but growing up I spend hours everyday out working with horses and doing chores and I sometimes miss that. I mean I feel like sometimes I am totally a different person than I use to be now I am a mom and a wife and I do things with my little family and we have our own hobbies, but sometimes I love going back to who I use to be and and just hanging out at the races. Wyatt and Shay don't love the races but they love the hotel and swimming countless times over the weekend and of course playing with their 8 cousins.Christy-Sydnee-Shay- and Taylor you can't really tell but we all put blue feathers in our hair to help cheer for our team with is blue and white.
