The big 4

Happy Birthday Clint and Cole!!  They turned four yesterday- they came home from preschool wearing these cute birthday hats.

Later that night we did a little party.  Ammon's family came over for cake and ice cream.  Clint was so funny Nate would hold the candle up to blow out and he would try to lick it- och but it was really cute.

  Cole did not care about the candles but was a little mad he could not just grab the cake-  Which came later- as soon as they could they both just squished their cupcakes.  Ahh so messy!!  

 After a quick tubby it was present time.  Getting them presents is kinda tricky because I have no clue what they want but on the other hand they are so happy with anything.  Cole was crazy just jumping from thing to thing- Clint was a little calmer just happy to have one toy- of couse they all just go right in the mouth

These are just a few remembering back photos.  It seems so crazy that it has been four years since these darling boys joined our family.  In some ways it has flown by other day it seems like an eternity of just not having life simple- boy I really took things for granted of how easy life use to be, but it has all definitely been worth it.  We sure do love these guys.

 

 Day one August 29, 2008  12:56 a.m. Cole  weighed in at 5 lbs  11oz.  Then at 12:57 a.m. Clint arrived weighing 5 lbs 13 oz.

 After 10 days in the NICU They got to come home.

Lagoon

Two days before school started we decided to our last fun thing before school and we went to Lagoon with the Merritt family.  It was such a great day!  It was so fun this year because both Wyatt and Shay liked to ride about everything so we all could ride the rides.  Naomi and her cute family met us there for awhile to ride some rides.  Shay was so brave this year and even tried the white rollercoaster for the first time, she hated it but at least she tried it.  The favorite ride was the Bombora rollercoaster and we road it at least 8 times.  A big thanks to Aunt Rachie for keeping the boys again so we could go and play!   At the end of the day me and Tricia went and rode the Samari I wish we would have got a photo for proof it was pretty crazy!  What a great way to end the summer.

Brigham Temple

Brigham Temple Open house-

Ahh-  You know when as moms you have this great plan of how things should go and then they don't go that way and you wonder why you even try- Well that was kind of how this experience was.  Wyatt was not in a great mood and complained about going and Shay was excited until we got there and then made the comment "Is this really all we do-we just walk around".  It was really hot and we had to pack Clint and Cole through the whole thing -because they would not make an exception to the no stroller rule- Anyhow I really wanted it to be a neat experience for my kids but it really wasn't - I was just glad to be done.  Then we went to eat and waited for over an hour for a table seriously why did we wait?  Anyhow we got home late and that was the night before school started.  Oh well at least we tried to have a great night.

First Day of School

School has started once again!  I can't believe summer is over.  Every year I can't believe how old my kids are getting!  Wyatt is in 4th yes 4th grade and has Ms Bradshaw, Shay is in 2nd with Mrs Bolton.  I hope we have another great year of school.  Clint and Cole have not gone back yet but will start in a couple days and then I will have my mornings free.  I really should feel bad but I am so excited to have a few hours to myself everyday!

Grandma

This past week my Grandma Nita passed away- It has been a really hard week my grandma has been sick for a long time and it was time for her to go, but I have been selfishly really sad.  She was my last grandparent a live and it hard to not have a grandma.  The day after she passed away Shays pony pepper also died.  Shay was so upset about her pony and wanted to know why when she was not old or sick like grandma did she have to die.  I said that Grandma must have needed a pony in Heaven to ride.  That night for Shays prayer she said " Please bless Grandma is having fun riding Pepper in Heaven"

Fair

Our family loves the fair!  This year it was a little more work because Wyatt was old enough to show a sheep.  

This is the kids bathing their sheep to get them ready to show.  You gotta love Shays outfit swimsuit with mudboots- oh I love that girl!

Wyatts sheep was named Jumping spider and it lived up to his name- that sheep was wild and Wyatt had a hard time controlling it.  But I was so proud of him it did get away a couple times when he was showing it, but everytime he just hurried and grabbed it and got back in line.  He did not get upset.  He did a great job for his first year.  It is a lot of work for him and his parents I will be glad to not have to get up every morning and walk that sheep a mile.  Shay did the peewee class again and she showed her sheep Zorro she was such a nice sheep and show is a natural can't wait for her to do 4-H.

The kids also took in Pigeons, Chickens rabbits, and vegtables. Wyatt was so excited to win a trophy on his pigeon.  The kids also sold 6 baby rabbits They both came home with around $80 for all their sales and ribbons.  Lucky kids they can't wait to go to Lagoon next week which is what they want to use their ribbon money for.
